Installation of pipework
Whatever the size of gas pipe you have or require, Oncore specialist heating holds the qualifications necessary to carry out the works. When considering the processes involved, its important that works are planned to ensure a sufficient shut down time to allow for works to be carried out safely.
Maintenance - Gas Pipework
Gas tightness testing is actually something that should take place regularly as per the Gas Safety (installation and use) Regulations 1998, which states, “It shall be the duty of every employer and self-employed person to ensure that any gas appliance or installation pipework installed at any place of work under his control is maintained in a safe condition so as to prevent risk of injury to any person.”
Regular gas tightness testing will not only make you compliant with the law, but will also ensure safety from gas leaks and efficiency in your gas distribution system so that you won’t be inconvenienced by disruptions in service. It typically involves a full examination and leak detection through pressure testing.
